About the media not representing "reality" - I agree 100%.
There were many incidents blocked from TV by Israeli media, and just as many incinces CREATED for TV by the Palestinian population.
In general, I would not trust the media to give a taste of reality - I would trust the media to give a taste of the purpose of those who run it.
Media, like education, has a purpose - it's not neutral...
I would also keep in mind, that it would hardly serve the Palestinian cause if what is shown on Palestinian TV were to be made available to the American Public. It's hardly a call for peaceful co-existance...

No comments here from any Israelis yet. There is a solution but it's not popular - giving up the settlements in the West Bank to make room for a Palestinian country there. Of course that country wouldn't be well off economically so maybe the Palestinians wouldn't care for that too much.

I also agree. We can't get the truth about our own country in our country, so it wouldn't surprise me that we don't hear the truth about this very important issue.
